Pictures...Finally

I have some pics from the 4th- thanks to Mark!! We were in Duluth this weekend (to be blogged about later) and he made a CD for us.

After lunch, the boys played on the slip and slide, and then decided to dig out the water balloons, can you all predict what happened next?


First Andee went after Matt...

Then big brother Matt dug out the hose...

But look who he first got...Grandma Rose and mom Dianne...
Of course he got Andee...

No one was safe...not Grammy...

We did not only play water games. This is a yard game Andee brought to us last year. It consists of 2 poles about 25 ft apart, with empty beer bottles on them. The object is to knock off the bottle with the frisbee... if the other team does not catch the falling bottle or frisbee, you get two points, or one for each item they do not catch. Sounds easy right?...Not so much. It is amazing how hard it is to hit a little post with a frisbee, and how hard it is to catch the frisbee and bottle when they are hit! (Did I forget to mention you can also only use one hand?)

hmm, I wonder why Andee is in a different outfit, maybe because her other clothes were dripping WET?Needless to say, lots of fun had by all!!
