This afternoon I had a chance to go to a Holiday Concert at Gavin's school and a holiday party a Garek's preschool. I did not get a very good picture of the concert, as you can tell I was using a point and shoot and I do not know how to turn off the flash. Needless to say, he was pretty cute and sang his heart out on the two songs the third graders performed.
About 1/3 of the 3rd graders!
After the third graders sang, I snuck out to pop in at Garek's preschool holiday party. Miss Ellen was opening the gifts that were given to the classroom (it was her request that instead of teacher gifts, students might consider giving a gift to the classroom). Garek gave the classroom a Thomas the Train game. Now we will never get the kids to leave the preschool class!! After the gift opening, he then went to work on his gingerbread house. He needed to glue every piece of candy he was given in his little bowl onto his house. Very creative!!

All in all, it was nice to be able to leave work for a couple hours this afternoon to take in the festivities at the boys' schools.
