So I usually leave the blog grumbling to Matt, but today I am a bit upset over the customer service I received with two different companies via the phone today. First, I had to talk one of them into refunding a late charge of less than $5. I know that does not seem like much, but I paid on time, they even agreed I paid on time, and then tried to tell me they could not remove the charge!! I have never been so close to yelling at a customer "service" person. If I were to owe them $5, they would eventually send a credit agency after me, but when they charge me $5 incorrectly, it is too hard for them to change. Grrr. Finally I did get my money back :)
Then, I received my Christmas Cards in the mail. They are photo cards and are really cute, however they seemed to have forgotten to give me envelopes. I called right away to tell them and the customer service person said "Ok, I will file a claim for you, and it will be reviewed by the department in three days and then they will get back to you." What?! These are for Christmas cards, they need to be sent out soon! I told her as much and she said, "Well mam you have the cards." Again, what good are the cards without envelopes. Grrr.
I told Matt that there better be no more customer service calls today, I might not deal well with it!

It is hard dealing with things like that. What I especially HATE is that I am that one that always has to make the calls...with one exception, a computer issue.
