Whew

It was a busy weekend, and I am a total camera slacker, as I did not take pictures! Gavin and Garek had their last soccer practice/games on Saturday. I did a triathlon (1/3 mile swim, 13 mile bike, 3 mile run) - and finished within 2 hours! Yay! We made it to Jake's surprise birthday party and the boys did not spill the beans ahead of time. It may have helped that we did not tell them until we were in Duluth. Gavin and Garek were infatuated with the train, in fact Garek was so busy with the ride that he did not eat any food! Good job with the party Jody! (I forgot that one of my 101 was to take the boys on a train ride, thanks again Jody).

On Sunday morning, we went fishing with my dad at Chub Lake and the boys caught many, many little sunnies and bluegills. Grandpa Guy managed to catch a good sized Northern though and we did bring home some fish for the boys to have for dinner today. (They LOVE fish). We also managed to stay dry on the fishing trip although the boys kept leaning way over the sides of the boat. On Sunday evening we ate dinner with the Dobos in Duluth and then headed home for a late night return.

All in all, a busy and fun weekend!
